Title: Literary Character Analysis using Prezi

Description: Session attendees will learn how to embed a literary analysis graphic organizer into a Prezi to promote and engage group collaboration, analysis, and reading comprehension. A Prezi is a non-linear web-based presentation and collaboration application. Prezis can be used to tell stories, to explain processes, to present and emphasize specific information. One may embed images, videos, and other media onto a single canvas -- a Prezi!

Title: Using Alice & Workflowy in the Science Classroom

Description: Alice is an educational software that teaches students computer programming in a 3D environment. Alice was created by late Professor Randy Pausch to help students learn something difficult while having fun. In this session we'll look at ways teachers could incorporate Alice into their classroom. We will be using Workflowy to track ideas of integrating Alice into your classroom.

How about documenting science labs through pictures? Join us as we explore Voicethread, an online digital storytelling tool, that allows for students to easily combine images, audio and much more.

Title: Media Literacy through the Arts

Description: How much do you know about the Arts and 21st century skills? This session will provide an insightful experience that demonstrates how visual art can be used in practically any high school classroom to tap into students' real world experiences. A series of brief activities will reveal connections between Art and multiple subject areas. Participants will primarily use Google applications for sharing and recording.
